Sarina Karwande PT, DPT
Sarina (she/her/hers) is a pelvic health and pediatric physical therapist. She originally is from Salt Lake City, Utah. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Chapman University in 2014. Sarina earned her clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona CA. After graduation, she started her career in pediatrics and worked in a variety of settings and made her way to specializing in pelvic floor dysfunctions. She continues seeing patients at Shriners for Children treating complex congenital and neuromuscular diseases. Since graduating she has attended specialized courses in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and courses to treat pelvic pain and dysfunction for all genders and ages. Most recently, she completed her certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) to help customize treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related injuries. Driven by a dedication to her patients, Sarina embraces lifelong learning, actively seeking out expert insights and continuous education to provide evidence-based care
Outside of work, Sarina is found camping, hiking, triathlon training and lounging with her two adorable cats, Phyllo and Feta.
